Governor of Hodeida Mohammed Qahim and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Nasr al-Din Amer were briefed on Tuesday on the progress made on al-Sammad Dialysis Center project in Hodeida city.
Qahim and Amer listened to a brief from the project's officials on the achievement progress that has made so far in the center, which consists of three buildings, dialysis halls, and service facilities at an estimated cost of YR 290 million funded by Hodeida local authority.
Amer praised the efforts of the local authority in improving the province's infrastructure in various sectors, especially the health sector in order to alleviate the citizens's suffering as a result of the continued aggression, siege and fuel vessels detention.
He stressed that the ongoing development in Hodeida despite the continued escalation of the aggression represents a victory in the development and economic fronts through which the aggression tried to bring the Yemeni people to their knees.
Amer stressed that the development in the province amid the aggression and siege is enough to consolidate the citizen's confidence in the leadership of the local authority and its keenness to alleviate their suffering now and in the future.
