Hodeidah:Governor Abdullah Atifi inspected Al-Khawkhah General Hospital to evaluate its progress and the implementation of its operation mechanism, as outlined in the twinning agreement with Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Atifi, accompanied by Parliament member Abdo Radman, Health and Environment Office director Dr. Ali Al-Haddad, and district director Amjad Al-Umaysi, assessed the hospital's facilities, health care quality, and the steps taken to transfer administrative and technical expertise from Al-Thawra Hospital to enhance operations.
The governor conducted a meeting with the hospital's health and administrative staff, alongside the Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority team, to discuss the development of free medical services for local and neighboring residents. The meeting focused on providing necessary support to improve hospital performance and elevate service standards.
Governor Atifi engaged with the health staff to address performance levels, operational needs, and challenges, exploring solutions to enhance the work environment and service efficiency. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and utilizing Al-Thawra Hospital Authority's expertise to organize operations and improve health care quality.
He assured the commitment of the local authority and the Ministry of Health and Environment to strengthen and stabilize health services, ensuring sustainable free treatment and care for citizens to alleviate their hardships.
Dr. Ali Al-Haddad highlighted the significance of continuous collaboration between local leadership and the health sector to successfully implement the twinning agreement, thereby enhancing medical performance and meeting current demands.
