SANAA, The House of Representatives on Monday has continued to hold its meetings for the first period of first half-year for the fourteenth annual session under the chairmanship of the President of the Council, Yahya al-R'ai.
At the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of State for Parliamentary and Shura Council Affairs, Dr. Ali Abdullah Abu Hleika, the members of the Council discussed the humanitarian relief, food and medicine provided by relief organizations to Yemen.
The house of representatives agreed to contact the National Salvation Government to provide the house of representatives with a detailed report on the size of the aid, the number of beneficiaries and the mechanism for distributing it to the needy in different province, where some of them arrive expired and that matter poses a danger to the lives of citizens.
The members of the House of Representatives have indicated in their discussions the importance of the arrival of relief aid to its beneficiaries, some of which are distributed and expired.
They called for the government to play its role by activating its regulatory bodies and through appropriate mechanisms so that such assistance reaches its beneficiaries.
They approved the attendance of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research next Wednesday to clarify the issue of students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hodeidah.
The House had started its session by reviewing its previous minutes and approved it and will continue to hold its meetings on Tuesday, God willing.
