SANAA, The House of Representatives has continued on Tuesday to hold its meetings for the first period of the first half-year for the 14th annual session under the chairmanship of its speaker, Yahya al-Ra'i.
At the meeting, the members of The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission (SNACC) were elected by secret ballot, in a democratic atmosphere in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 39 of 2006 on the fight against corruption, its executive regulations and the list of candidates submitted by the Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Aidarous to the House of Representatives.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed his congratulations to the winners in these elections, wishing them success in the tasks entrusted to them, which were defined by the law in order to combat corruption and spare society damage.
The Council had started its session by reviewing its previous minutes and approved it, and will continue its work on Wednesday morning, God willing.
