IBB, Governor of Ibb Abdel Wahed Salah discussed on Tuesday with the Secretary General of the Italian Intersos the humanitarian interventions of the organization in the province.
In the meeting, which included the Director of the Office of the InterSos in Yemen, the governor praised humanitarian work of the organization, especially in the field of health and relief and childhood.
The Governor of Ibb praised the organization's keenness to expand its humanitarian activities in the province and recently opened a branch in Ibb city.
He pointed out that the Ibb provinces suffers from a humanitarian situation which is disastrous due to the aggression and blockade and its urgent need for many urgent assistance in various fields.
He pointed out that Ibb receives all the people of the homeland referring to more than one million displaced people from various provinces, affected by the US-saudi-backed aggression coalition on Yemen, who displaced to Ibb.
The Governor stressed the importance of the Organization's projects to be sustainable to achieve the desired goal in the near and long term .. He expressed the readiness of the local authority to provide all facilities and support to the success of its projects.
For her part, the Director of InterSos in Yemen reviewed the most important projects implemented in Ibb, stressing the organization's intention to expand its activities and humanitarian activities during the current year to include several additional districts to provide their services in proportion to the needs of each region, explaining that the organization is implementing a project to support the health sector for a full year in a number of areas of Ibb, pointing out that the budget of the Organization during the current year was allocated a large part for the benefit of Ibb which become a province of importance and incubator for all displaced people of Yemen.
