Executive Director of Sana'a Cleaning and Improvement Fund Muhammad Sharaf al-Din and head of the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Sana'a Andrea Pascarelli discussed on Monday the possibility of the ICRC's support to develop cleaning and environment projects in Sana'a.

The meeting also reviewed the cooperation with the ICRC to meet the needs of the cleaning and improvement sector in the capital.

Sharaf al-Din stressed the importance of the Committee’s support for the hazardous medical waste project in hospitals and health centers in the capital Sana'a and holding training courses for the project's specialists.

In return, Pascarelli expressed the Committee's readiness to support the Cleaning Fund and to discuss the interventions that can be provided in the fields of cleanliness and environment.
