Sana'a: The Ministry of Information and its affiliated institutions expressed deep sorrow on Monday over the passing of journalist and writer Khalil al-Omari, who died at the age of 57. Al-Omari dedicated his life to serving the nation through his extensive work in the media field.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry released a statement commending al-Omari's professionalism and his significant contributions to national journalism. His distinguished career included roles as a program producer and a correspondent for Lebanon's al-Manar Channel, where he reported on Yemen's events with integrity and dedication. The Ministry emphasized that al-Omari's death is a substantial loss to both the national and Arab media landscapes and extended heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, and colleagues.
