SANAA, Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor on Saturday reviewed with Shura Council Chairman, Mohammad al-Aidrous the relations of complementary and partnership between the two constitutional institutions in the face of the challenges of the current exceptional situation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated al-Aidrous on his election as Shura Council chairman.
He noted the efforts and actions of the Shura Council to support a number of government sectors through its valuable recommendations.
He stressed the government's keenness to benefit from the recommendations of the Shura on a number of aspects and issues related to the performance of ministries and government institutions.
In his turn, al-Aidrous addressed the most important reports issued by the Council related to the Government and the existing aggression, which touched on vital issues in agriculture, electricity, women, human rights, the security of the Red Sea and Socotra and international ambitions to control them.
He stressed the Council's readiness to discuss any topics referred by the National Salvation Government based on the nature of complementary relations existing under the Constitution and the law to serve the supreme interest of the nation.
