The Department of the Interior warned of the shooting on "Wilayah" day anniversary.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Abdul-Khaleq Al-Ajri, said that the shooting may lead to loss of life and property.

He pointed out that shooting on occasions is an outsider habit to Yemeni society and poses a security threat at the same time.

Al-Ajri stressed that the security services will take legal measures against those who violate this, especially since such actions disturb public peace.

He praised the citizens' response and their commitment not to open fire on occasions in recent years, as well as their cooperation with the security men.
