Director of the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hajjah province Allan Fadhael has discussed with the director of the offices of the Danish Council in Hajjah and Hodeida provinces the council’s interventions in Hajjah.
The meeting reviewed the council's interventions in the province's districts.
Fadhael valued the efforts of the Danish Council and its contribution to alleviating some of the suffering of people in all sectors.
He stressed the need to respond to provide the needs that were surveyed in the areas of Abs district and to complete the sewage project in al-Mahabesha district.
Fadhael noted the need to work on rehabilitating local institutions and associations, providing the needs of the displaced, and attracting grants to cover development projects that touch people's concerns.
For her part, the Danish official valued the facilities provided by the province leadership and the council branch to implement interventions and activities.
She explained that her visit aims to strengthen the partnership and get acquainted about the activities of the Hajjah Humanitarian Office, as well as the priority needs, and work to bring the necessary grants to support the province.
