A meeting in Bayda province on Monday, headed by Governor Abdullah Idris discussed the interventions of the Red Crescent during the coming period in the field of food security, health and accommodation sector in the province.

The meeting reviewed the activities of the association, its service projects, programs implemented during the last stage, and its plans for the next stage.

Governor of Bayda stressed the importance that the interventions of the Red Crescent Society meet the requirements of food security and the basic needs of citizens in the province.

He pointed out the importance of intervening in various sectors to alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the current conditions as a result of the aggression and the siege, stressing keenness to strengthen coordination with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society to implement the interventions and provide the necessary support.

Governor Idris praised the efforts of the Red Crescent Society in implementing humanitarian projects and programs in Bayda to reduce human suffering.
