Israeli troops attacked on Friday a protest staged by Palestinians and killed one of the demonstrators.

Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement Abduljawad Saleh, 24, was shot and wounded while partaking in a demonstration in the village of Um Safa near Ramallah. He died later at hospital.

The Palestinians organized the demonstration to protest construction of a settlement outpost in the region.

Meanwhile, Palestinians held funeral for two Palestinians who were killed by the occupation forces in the old sector of Nablus earlier today.
