AMMAN, Jordan, Jordan said, on Tuesday, that, it agreed to host a meeting between the Yemeni government and the Houthis, to discuss an agreement, to exchange prisoners and detainees.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Sufian Qudah, said in a statement, that, the ministry approved a request by the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, to host a meeting in the capital Amman, between the Yemeni government and the Houthis.
Jordan supports all efforts in this regard, and will place all its capabilities, to help end the Yemeni crisis and reach a political solution, he added.
A delegation from the Houthis has arrived in Amman for the meeting, expected to be held on Wednesday (today), according to a well-informed source, who preferred to remain anonymous.
