Jordanians take to the streets to protest Israeli war on Gaza

Jordanians took to the streets Friday to reject the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and to show solidarity with the Palestinians and their steadfastness in the face of the continuing Israeli attacks. Popular and partisan activities carried out solidarity rallies in various governorates of the Kingdom, in which participants denounced the Israeli aggression and the continuous bombing of Gaza and its surroundings, which claimed the lives of hundredsoof civilians, most of whom were children, women and the elderly, calling on the international community and the Security Council to stop the brutal aggression. Thousands of Jordanians participated in the solidarity march that began after Friday prayers in down town Amman, expressing their rejection of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and in support of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the face of Israeli attacks. They denounced the continuing Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza and the targeting of infrastructure, hospitals, schools, residential communities and religious places. The participants called on the international community and the Arab Leage to stop the Israeli violations against Palestinians, stressing their continued support and standing with the Palestinians in they quest for their legitimate rights to establish their Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Popular activities were organised after Friday prayers, a solidarity stand in front of Al-Kalouti Mosque in Amman in support of the people of the Gaza Strip after the brutal Israeli aggression they are being subjected to on the city and its environs.
