Justice Minister meets Yemeni Banks Association Acting Chief

The Minister of Justice, Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, discussed on Wednesday with the Acting President of the Association of Yemeni Banks, Mahmoud Naji, ways to enhance cooperation between the judiciary and the association.

The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Saad Hadi, reviewed the difficulties banks face before the judicial bodies and ways to address them in accordance with the law.

At the meeting, Al-Azzani stressed the importance of presenting perceptions of the treatments proposed by the association after coordination with the Central Bank of Yemen.

He referred to the interaction of the judiciary in a way that serves the interest of the national economy and preserves the rights of citizens' money deposited with banks.

In turn, Naji appreciated the interest of the judiciary in issues related to banks, the judiciary and its keenness to strengthen the national economy, especially in light of the continued aggression and blockade.

He affirmed the association's readiness to cooperate with the judicial authority in order to serve the achievement of justice for all.
