This initiative aims to enhance water resource management in the region and reduce losses through the Water Users Association serving Damia, Shashaa, and ?ahrat al-Raml. The statement highlighted that the agreement is part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with the local community. The goal is to empower the WUA to actively participate in the management of water distribution, thereby improving water use efficiency and promoting environmental sustainability. Additionally, the statement noted that these agreements are b ased on a voluntary framework, with the association's management committee collaborating with the Jordan Valley Authority to oversee the distribution of irrigation water within the association's operational area at no financial cost. This approach reflects the Authority's commitment to fostering partnerships with the local community, as it establishes water user associations in areas where irrigation networks are rehabilitated, enabling them to play an active role in managing water resources.
