Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed on Sunday that Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain the center of resistance.

In a tweet on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionists, Nasser Kanaani said “all mosques around the world will remain as the centers of anti-Zionism resistance until the full liberation of Palestine.”

August 21 marks the 53rd anniversary of a terrible attack against Al-Aqsa Mosque, when a Protestant extremist from Australia named Denis Michael Rohan set fire to the holy site in Jerusalem al-Quds, destroying large parts of the site and irreplaceable artifacts.
