JEDDAH, Kuwait Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Wednesday from British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs James Cleverly.

Sheikh Salem asserted, during the phone call, on the importance of ending the cycle of violence and to ensure such violence would not spread to other areas, including the protection of civilians.

The two ministers also discussed the humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and Gaza Strip and boosting efforts to ensure humanitarian aid reach the Palestinian people, including achieving a just solution to the Palestinian conflict. (end) nma.mb
