Lahj Governor: The American move in Al-Mahrah flagrant violation of national sovereignty

The governor of Lahj, Ahmed Juraib, denounced on Wednesday the US violations of Yemeni sovereignty, the latest of which was the visit of the US Navy Commander to Al-Mahra province, accompanied by a number of officers and personnel and Washington's ambassador.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Juraib considered these moves a blatant interference in Yemeni affairs and a violation of the sovereignty of a member state of the United Nations. He pointed out that the visit of the American delegation reflects Washington's bad intentions in Yemen and reveals the seriousness of its colonial agenda in the Yemeni provinces.

He pointed out that these developments require everyone to rally around the call of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to prepare for the battle of complete independence and expel the invaders and colonizers from all parts of the country.

The governor of Lahj pointed out that the provocative American moves in the southern governorates, specifically the governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahrah, come within the framework of Washington's efforts to thwart peace efforts in Yemen, and confirm the American desire to prolong the war and the continuation of the blockade.

He called on the liberals of the southern provinces to reject the American presence and condemn these moves because of their serious consequences.
