The governor of Lattakia in Syria, Eng. Amer Hilal, praised the Yemeni solidarity with the Syrian people in the ordeal of the earthquake that struck the country recently.

This came during his meeting with the Yemeni ambassador to Syria, Abdullah Sabri, and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of Lattakia Governorate, in conjunction with the arrival of the relief convoy provided by the Yemeni community in Syria to those affected by the earthquake.

For his part, Ambassador Sabri affirmed that the relief convoy is an expression of the feelings of unity and brotherhood between the two brotherly peoples, and an embodiment of Yemen's firm stances on Syria side, despite all the difficulties that the two countries are experiencing as a result of the US and Western sanctions and blockade policies.

On Saturday, the Yemeni community in Syria sent a relief convoy to Lattakia Governorate, in support of those affected by the earthquake, under the slogan "From Yemen to the Levant, we are all resistance".
