Deputy Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Abdul Salam Muhammad Al-Mathhari,on Saturday, inaugurated the training program on “Economic Modeling and Forecasting”.
The 12-day program will be attended by specialists from the Ministry of Planning and Development and the agencies related to economic indicators from the Ministries of Finance, Oil, Minerals, Agriculture, Irrigation, Industry, Trade, Fisheries, Communications and Information Technology, the Central Bank of Yemen and the General Investment Authority.
In launching the program, the Deputy Minister of Planning and Development considered the inauguration of the Code of Employment Conduct the greatest achievement of the state’s administrative sector.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Development for the Development Plans Sector and Head of the Executive Unit of the National Vision, Eng. Abdullah Al-Shater, pointed out the importance of the program on economic modeling and forecasts, as it focuses on the practical and field aspects.
