Malaysia condemned the suicide bomb attack outside the Khor Maksar district military camp in Aden, Yemen Sunday.

In a statement issued here yesterday, Wisma Putra (Malaysian Foreign Ministry) said the attack which killed 52 mpeople and injured 84 others was an act of terrorism and hoped the responsible parties would be brought to justice.

Malaysia also recorded its condolence and sympathy to the government and people of Yemen as well as families of the victims.

The statement also said the ministry through the Malaysian Embassy in

Muscat, Oman would continue to monitor the situation in Yemen from time to time.

It was reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the military camp, killing 52 military personnel.

According to the report, the attack occurred when the military personnel were queuing up to collect their salary.
