Mahweet: A meeting held in Mahweet governorate on Monday, chaired by Secretary-General of the Local Council Dr. Ali Ahmed al-Zaikam, discussed strengthening cooperation and coordination between the local authorities and the Yemeni Red Crescent Society branch in implementing humanitarian and development activities and projects.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which included provincial officials and representatives of the Red Crescent, emphasized the importance of effective coordination to unify efforts and ensure the success of humanitarian and service projects that meet community needs.

It praised the Red Crescent's vital role in providing health services, disaster response, and community development, while affirming the local authority's readiness to support and facilitate the Society's initiatives to enhance citizens' resilience and improve basic services.
