The National Center of Meteorology on Wednesday warned of very cold weather in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the Center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from severe cold shocks.
The Center stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some weather monitoring stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar: 0.0, Sana'a: 0.6, Amran: 1.0, Sa'ada: 1.8, Ibb: 4.8, Sayun: 5.2, Al-Saddah: 7.0, Ataq and Mahweet: 8.0 degrees Celsius.
