Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Fahad Al-Shula stressed Wednesday need of setting new cleaning regulations to place penalties on non-compliant companies.

Al-Shula stated on the sidelines of his visit to municipal councils' members that cleaning issue is priority to any minister amidst complaints by citizens regarding this issue.

However, he announced an upcoming nationwide campaign starting next week in addition to discussing with the Municipal Council members means of boosting cooperation with the objective of facilitating procedures.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed on transforming paper applications to paper-less applications to to make things easy for citizens and architecture offices.

From his side, Municipal Council chairman Abdullah Al-Mehri said in statement council members were keen on approving the State's fourth structural plans.
