SANA’A, Apr. 21 (Saba) – The Ministry of Expatriate Affairs has condemned the killing of a Yemeni expatriate in California state, the USA.
An American gang last Saturday set fire to the house of citizen Essam al-Khader, from Ibb province, in California, killing Essam and his daughter Soraya, 2. The rest of the family were wounded and rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.
In its statement, the Ministry considered this crime a violation of the humanitarian law in a country that praises freedom and the protection of human rights.
On the other hand, the statement also denounced the Saudi regime’s continued detention of thousands of Yemeni expatriates with their families in al-Wadeah outlet since March 24 under the pretext of being having four-wheel drive cars.
It called on the United Nations, the United Nations Human Rights Office and all humanitarian organizations to put an end to the Saudi regime’s acts.
