The Ministry of Fisheries issued a decision to ban the sale and circulation of shrimp during the period of closure of the fishing season.

The ministry confirmed in a circular quoted by Saba a copy of which the decision to stop shrimp fishing will continue to work until a decision is issued to open the season.

The Ministry of Fisheries called on all traders, fish sellers, and marine life to abide by the decision and not violate it.
