Ministry of Health Commemorates Martyr’s Anniversary with Central Event

Sana'a: The Ministry of Health and Environment commemorated Martyr's Anniversary today with a central event. At the event, which was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Abdu al-Jundi, Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban, and Deputy Ministers of Information Dr. Omar al-Bakhiti, and Justice and Human Rights Judge Ibrahim al-Shami, Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Nasser al-Qaoud emphasized the importance of drawing lessons and inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyrs and following in their footsteps in defense of the homeland.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. al-Qaoud noted that the martyrs' sacrifices will forever be a source of pride for the nation's people. He stressed that it is everyone's duty to provide care for the families of the martyrs as a token of loyalty and gratitude to those who gave their lives and all they possessed for the sake of God and country, so that everyone may enjoy life, security, and stability. Dr. al-Qaoud affirmed that commemorating this anniversary serves to draw lessons and inspiration from the martyrs' sacrifices, which have yielded honor and dignity, and to stand against the forces of aggression and global arrogance, and to support our brothers in Palestine and the Gaza Strip. He touched on the arrangements being made by the Ministry and the Martyrs' Families Care Authority to implement the free medical camp for the families of martyrs, which will provide its services in the specialties of heart, eyes, bones, spine, brain, and nerves, pointing to the good results achieved by the first camp for t he care of the families of martyrs.

At the event, which was attended by several members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, as well as the heads of the Medical Council, Dr. Abdulkarim Shaiban, the Land Authority, Judge Mohammed Al-Mansour, and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, Taha Jaran, members of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Khalid Musa and Osama Al-Mahatori, emphasized the importance of embodying the true meaning of commemorating the martyrs' anniversary, their courageous stances, and their sacrifices in the cause of God's religion and the values of truth and justice. They affirmed that the success and prosperity of the Islamic nation depend on a sincere return to the Quran, the application of its clear verses, and the rejection of allegiance to Jews and Christians, as well as adherence to the path of the Prophet Muhammad, his pure family, and the guiding lights of Islam.

Meanwhile, Abdul-Azim Al-Kabsi, speaking on behalf of the martyrs' families, explained the significance of this commemoration in highlighting the sacrifices made by the martyrs in defending the homeland and its sovereignty. She emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary, which embodies the greatness of martyrdom, the status of martyrs, and loyalty to their sacrifices for the sake of truth and the defense of the nation. She noted that the martyrs' sacrifices have borne fruit today in the great stances of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian people, who are subjected to genocide, siege, and ethnic cleansing amidst international silence and indifference.

The event, attended by the ministry's directors general and program managers, as well as staff, included honoring the families of martyrs with gifts and financial contributions, along with songs and poems.
