RAMALLAH, - The death toll from the Israeli occupation forces' aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen so far to 2,450 martyrs, Palestine's Ministry of Health (MoH) said Sunday, adding that up to 9,200 others were wounded in the attacks.
Fifty-six people have been killed since the start of the Operation 'Al-Aqsa Flood' on October 7 and more than 1,200 others were injured in the West Bank, the ministry added in a statement.
Hamed Abu Attai, and eight of his children and grandchildren have been killed Sunday by an Israeli missile attack in Jabalia, and others were wounded in the surrounding buildings, Palestine news agency (WAFA) reported, citing its correspondent in the Strip.
Speaking in a news conference in Ramallah, Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said some medical teams have been subjected to 76 attacks in the Strip, warning against the danger of health situation.
She noted that 23 ambulances were totally ruined and some medics were killed.
At a time when al-Kaila warned against the spread of epidemics in the Strip, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross called for intervention to prevent attacking health facilities to continue serving citizens.
A number of hospitals in the Strip are now out of service as they have been attacked by the Israeli occupation forces.
