MSF’s activities in Bayda reviewed

Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris discussed here on Wednesday with the director of the emergency mobile medical project at the Swiss Doctors Without Borders (MSF) the organization's health activities and interventions in the province.

The meeting reviewed the MSF's activities and programs and the province's health needs, particularly in the fields of medical equipment and rehabilitation, in a way that contributes to improving health services.

Idris affirmed the readiness of the province local authority to overcome any difficulties that may hinder the activities and programs of the international humanitarian organizations working in the province.

In return, the MSF official stressed the organization's readiness to support the health sector in the province in coordination with the local authority, the health office and the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs.
