MSF’s activities in Yemen reviewed

Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) Abdulmohsen Tawoos met here on Sunday with the representatives of the French, Spanish, Dutch and Swiss Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

In the meeting, Tawoos and MSF officials reviewed the implemented health projects and the possibility of organizations' interferences in the flood disasters.

Tawoos urged the MSF's officials to hire Yemeni cadres to work in its activities instead of foreign cadres, stressing the importance of continuing coordination between MSF and SCMCHA to ensure the success of its health interferences.

For their parts, the MSF's representatives praised the efforts of the Council to overcome difficulties and facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen.
