Mubaidin condoles Al Jazeera channel over killing of Dahdouh’s family members

Minister of Government Communications, Dr. Muhannad Mubaidin, offered his deepest condolences to the family of Al Jazeera and its correspondent in Gaza Strip, Wael Dahdouh, after members of his family were killed Wednesday by an Israeli air raid on their home in Gaza. Mubaidin, who is also the government's official spokesperson, condemned Israeli occupation forces' attacks on Palestinian civilians and journalists in Gaza and the West Bank, pointing out that 23 journalists have been killed since beginning of the war on Gaza. The minister stressed need to respect work of media teams, primarily journalists and photographers, in Palestine, and provide the necessary protection for them and their families. Additionally, he denounced Israeli occupation army's continued war on Gaza, which targets and displaces civilians, and limits entry of humanitarian, medical and relief aid into Gaza Strip. He also expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to Dahdouh and his family, as well as Al-Jazeera press crews, and the entire Arab media body.
