SANAA, The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Saturday heavy rainfall on the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast the rainfall would be accompanied by winds and thunderstorms, on parts of the western highlands of Marib, Jawf, Shabwa, Hadramout and Byada provinces.
The center stated that the rain might be extend west to the mountainous highlands of the western coasts and parts of the eastern and southern coasts, and the interior areas adjacent from Mahra and Lahj province.
It warned citizens in the areas where it might be expected to rain to stay away water gatherings and channels , as well as valleys during and after rains.
The center called for taking the necessary precautions from the landslides and the drop of horizontal visibility in the mountainous roads due to rainfall and forming the fog.
