The Parliament approved, in its Sunday session headed by the Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, a draft amendment to some articles of Law No. (22) of 2009 regulating the relationship between landlord and tenant.

The approval of the draft amendment comes in light of the report of the joint committee of the Committees for Services, Justice and Endowments, and the codification of Islamic Sharia, constitutional and legal provisions.
