Parliament condemns American moves in Mahra & calls for vigilance & caution

In a statement issued today, parliament condemned the suspicious American moves taking place in the occupied Yemeni provinces, the latest of which was the visit of the US ambassador and the commander of the US Fifth Fleet to Al-Mahra under the pretext of combating smuggling.

The council renewed its rejection of any foreign presence on Yemeni lands, islands and waters, whatever its justifications.

The parliament warned of the US plans targeting the unity and sovereignty of Yemen, calling on the Yemeni people with all their living forces to confront these moves and interferences in Yemeni affairs.

In its statement, the council condemned the daily assaults and violations of the Palestinian people's life, rights and sanctities.

Parliament strongly denounced the Zionist statements and legislation that violated all international laws and conventions that criminalize murder, liquidation and incitement.

The council called on the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council and their affiliated organizations and bodies to assume their humanitarian and moral responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people and stopping Zionist terrorism.
