Parliament condemns crimes of torture of prisoners in aggression’s jails

Parliament, headed by its Speaker Yahya al-Rai', denounced on Wednesday the torture and violations committed by the aggression mercenaries against the prisoners.

Parliament denunciation comes in the wake of torturing of prisoner Nabil al-Khouli until his death in one of the mercenaries' prisons.

Al-Khouli's body arrived in Sana'a after three years of captivity in the aggression jails.

The Parliament considered this crime one of a series of crimes of aggression against the prisoners in light of the declared armistice, which contradicts all international laws, norms and covenants related to human rights.

It called on the United Nations to assume its humanitarian and moral responsibilities in protecting the prisoners and holding the crimes' perpetrators accountable.
