The President, the Presidency, and members of the Parliament congratulated on Tuesday the national junior football team on its well-deserved victory in the West Asian Junior Championship, after its victory on Monday against the Saudi team in its land.

In Tuesday's session, chaired by the Speaker of the Council, Yahya Al-Ra'i, the people's representatives praised the team's performance despite the exceptional circumstances the country is going through, including the suffering and conditions of the players due to the destruction of most of the capabilities of the Yemeni people, including clubs and sports stadiums.

The People’s Representatives stressed the need for the National Salvation Government to pay the attention that befits the national junior team and all national teams in general.

They pointed out that the youth team's victory is an important message in this circumstance, after seven years of aggression and siege, to defeat aggression on various sides and fronts, including the sports front. They indicated that the victory of the Yemeni team confirms the unity and heritage of the Yemeni people.
