PATIENTS HELPING FUND SOCIETY DISCUSS COOPERATION WITH O.C.H.A. IN YEMEN

RIYADH, The Patients Helping Fund Society, discussed cooperation with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), to coordinate humanitarian aid, delivered in Yemen, through "Kuwait beside you" campaign.

The society said in a statement, on Sunday, that, President of the Patients Helping Fund Society, Dr. Mohammad Al-Sharhan, met in Aden, with the Head of Office for OCHA Yemen, George Khoury.

Dr. Al-Sharhan is eager to see the outcome of this coordination, that will benefit the humanitarian aid presented to Yemen, the statement added.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from Kuwait Relief Society (KRS), Kuwait's Patients Helping Fund Society and from OCHA.

OCHA's office is responsible for mobilising and coordinating effective humanitarian cooperation, in order to ease out the suffering of the Yemeni people in all aspects and to find permanent humanitarian solutions for all problems.
