PM discusses with Shura Chairman ways to protect old city of Sanaa from floods

SANAA, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor has discussed the procedures for protecting the old city of Sanaa due to floods and conditions of fishermen, human rights, youth and sports.

In the meeting held on Saturday, the two officials have discussed a number of common issues between the Cabinet council and Shura Council.

The Speaker of Shura Council expressed his thanks to the Prime Minister and his interaction with the Council’s activities and its outputs embodied by referring a number of reports submitted by the Council to the relevant ministries, believing that this reflects the partnership between the two councils at the working level.

The Prime Minister emphasized the integrative constitutional role between the two councils, especially in light of the aggression and blockade that the country is currently going through.

He praised the role of leading figures and highly experienced cadres from the Shura Council members, who are considered to be a good substitute for cabinet members.
