Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday was briefed on the conditions of the Ministry of Culture and its cultural activities.
During his visit to the Ministry, Bin Habtoor listened to a clarification from Minister of Culture Abdullah al-Kabsi about the achievement progress of the ministry’s plan for the current year and its cultural projects and activities, including cooperation with relevant authorities, to preserve Yemen's heritage and historical and archaeological sites.
Bin Habtoor and al-Kebsi reviewed the role of the ministry in supporting the literary works. The Prime Minister hail the Ministry's publishing the last two collections of the great Yemeni poet Abdullah al-Baradouni.
The Prime Minister praised the various efforts undertaken by the Ministry, its cultural activities and the level of implementation of its annual plan.
He stressed that the Ministry bears a great national responsibility towards many important issues such as preserving the cultural heritage, supporting and encouraging the young generation of writers and poets, preserving antiquities and contributing to acquaint the world with Yemen's history in international forums.with
