France 24 Arabic-language TV channel conducted on Friday an interview with Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, included a number of topics related to the escalation of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition, and related to Sana'a's position on addressing the status of the Safer ship, in addition to its position on any peace initiatives.
In response to the channel's questions, the Prime Minister confirmed that the last initiative submitted by the national side regarding addressing the situation of the Safer ship is still under study by the United Nations team. explaining that Sana'a has prepared all climates, including security and military, and that the ball is currently in United Nations Stadium.
In response to the channel's question, he explained that the recent maneuvers with the participation of the United States, the Zionist enemy, and other countries from the region and abroad represent moral support for the Saudi-Emirati aggressor and a miserable attempt to frighten the Yemeni people and a clear message to the countries bordering the Red Sea that this sea is an Israeli-Saudi lake.
He refuted the allegations and misleading of the coalition of aggression regarding its crimes against the Yemeni people and its attempt to appear as the victim of it. He said, "There is a wide media delusion practiced by the coalition about the nature of its aggression, which destroyed civilian objects such as homes, schools, hospitals and wedding halls, the latest of which was its targeting of the reserve prison in the city of Sa'ada, with the support and backing of the American and British Unfortunately, the international community looks at only part of the picture and stands with the executioner against the victim."
Commenting on the draft settlement proposed by the United Nations, Dr. Bin Habtoor added, “Unfortunately, the United Nations is under pressure from the two countries of aggression and those who protect them, and they exercise this kind of pressure through it on the Yemeni people, and we have repeatedly stressed our non-acceptance of bargaining on the humanitarian issue because it is a legitimate and natural right of the people. The Yemeni is to open its airports and seaports and to obtain medicine and treatment like other peoples.”
In response to a question related to the Saudi initiative, the Prime Minister asked, "How can countries that attack the Yemeni people and have killed their children for nearly seven years now present a project for a solution to peace?"
And he indicated that any project presented by the aggressor state will only be in its interest and to protect its cities, airports, and camps. He explained that any project that comes from a neutral state will be accepted, especially if it is fair and satisfies the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace.
The interview touched on a number of files, including those related to the dire humanitarian plight that the Yemeni people have been under for seven years as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
