Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Sunday visited the tomb of martyr President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a.
During the visit, the Prime Minister, along with a number of ministers, laid a wreath at the tomb of the martyr Al-Samad and his companions on the occasion of the Martyr Day's anniversary.
In addition, the Prime Minister and his fellow ministers visited Al-Sammad and the martyrs cemeteries of Al-Khamseen and read Al-Fatihah on their souls and all the martyrs of the homeland who were martyred in the defense of the nation and its legitimate right in the face of the aggressors and their destructive projects that are not limited to Yemen, but also target the entire Arab and Islamic nation.
The Prime Minister and ministers also visited the Presidential Protection Martyrs Exhibition, which includes photographs and an introductory profile of the martyrs.
The Prime Minister made a media statement following the visits, in which he described the celebration of the annual anniversary of the Martyr Day as a solemn moment in the life of the Yemeni people.
He pointed out that the state of stability and calm that the country and the citizens enjoy is thanks to the sacrifices of the honorable martyrs.
