President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat met here on Saturday with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum.

During the meeting, the results of Abu Lahoum's visit to Hajjah province, commissioned by President Al-Mashat, were reviewed.

President Al-Mashat stressed the need for concerted efforts between the concerned authorities represented by the Ministries of Water and Finance and the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, and the province leadership as a priority.

The President directed the Minister of Finance to quickly implement the contributions that were agreed upon in the approved initiatives for Hajjah province.

He praised the sacrifices of the people of Hajjah to defend the homeland, considering that providing services to the people of the province is the least duty that can be done towards them.

President Al-Mashat also directed the Ministry of Finance to support initiatives in all districts through the Central Development Intervention Unit, and not to spare any effort to achieve this.

He urged the Minister of Finance to continue efforts and visit the rest of the provinces, according to the plan set for that.
