President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat sent on Tuesday a cable of congratulations to President of Lebanon Gen. Michel Aoun.

In the cable, al-Mashat congratulated Aoun and the brotherly Lebanese people on the occasion of the Lebanese Independence Day.

The president emphasized Yemen's absolute support for Lebanon to face the economic and political challenges and the Israeli goals.
