SANAA, Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, on Tuesday met with the governor of Dhamar province, Mohammed al-Maqdashi.
The meeting discussed the situation of the province and the success of the elections to fill the parliamentary vacant seats in the province of Dhamar and a number of other provinces.
The President directed the local authority of the province and officials to redouble efforts to meet the needs of the people of the province and the necessary field visits by the relevant authorities to control markets and provide food and household gas to meet the requirements of citizens in the holy month of Ramadan.
The President of the Supreme Political Council praised the high awareness of the people of Dhamar province, which was reflected by the size of the large mass presence for the selection of candidates in the elections.
The President also praised the role played by the citizens and tribes of Dhamar province and the sacrifices they made in the face of the US-Saudi aggression coalition's invaders and mercenaries on various fronts.
For his part, the governor of Dhamar affirmed that the local authority will make maximum efforts to serve the citizens and provide the needs of citizens of goods and services.
