President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Monday discussed with Mohammed Quheim, acting governor of Hodeidah province, the worsening humanitarian situation in the province due to the continued escalation by Saudi-led aggression coalition.
The meeting dealt with the aspects related to enhancing the service and developmental performance to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially in the current situation, in addition to the situation of displaced people from the province.
In this regard, the president confirmed that the political leadership is paying attention to the situations of the province and is keen to mitigate the suffering of its residents and provide services for them.
The meeting also touched on the efforts being made to cooperate with the United Nations committee monitoring implementation of the ceasefire agreement concluded in Sweden, and the daily violations committed by the coalition.
