SANAA, Presiden Mahdi al-Mashat, met on Monday with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Judge Ahmad Al-Mutawakel and members of the SJC , in the presence of Speaker of Parliament Yahya Al-Ra'i.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the judicial system and the reforms that have been achieved in order to improve the level of performance, speed of decision on cases and bring justice to citizens.
The meeting dealt with aspects of coordination between the judiciary and the legislative institution to overcome the current difficulties left by the US-saudi coalition aggression and their siege.
In the meeting, the President stressed the leadership of the judiciary to do everything that would promote the work of the judiciary.
The President also stressed the Supreme Council's support for the Supreme Judicial Council in the process of judicial reform in parallel with the promotion of the independence of the judiciary.
The President stressed the importance of judicial recycling, which enhances the activity of the judiciary and raise the level of performance in a manner that reflects positively in the lives of citizens.
While the Speaker of the Parliament to the concern to overcome the difficulties that may concern some of the provisions of the laws to make them more flexible through the submission of the judiciary of the Parliament if necessary.
For their part, the President and members of the Supreme Judicial Council stressed the importance of achieving justice for all and activating the principle of reward and punishment, especially at this stage of unfair aggression.
