Qahim and Al-Hamli review implementation level of alternative energy project at Hodeida University

The Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Qahim, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, were briefed on the level of implementation and installation of the alternative energy system for Hodeida University.

Qahim and Al-Hamli, along with the President of Hodeida University, Muhammad Al-Ahdal, and the director of the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in the province, Jaber Al-Razhi, inspected the progress of installing the solar energy system for Hodeida University at a cost of 279 thousand and 263 dollars with the support of UNEPS with a capacity of 60 kilowatts.

Hodeida Governor appreciated the efforts and follow-up of the Supreme Council in providing the solar system to Hodeida University to improve the educational process.

While Al-Hamli stressed the keenness of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs to supply, implement and operate the alternative energy project for Hodeida University to raise the level of the educational process.

During the visit, they were accompanied by the Council’s Directors of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mohammed Al-Razzaa, local organizations, Abdul Salam Al-Nawab, and the representative of UNOPS in Hodeida, Saleh Soufan.
