Sana'a: A meeting held in the capital Sana'a on Monday, chaired by Chairman of the General Investment Authority Mohammed Ishaq, discussed the state of local pharmaceutical manufacturing, the challenges facing factories, and ways to boost investment in this vital sector to achieve national drug security.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting emphasized the importance of developing local pharmaceutical industries for their role in reducing import costs and supporting the national economy. It stressed the need to create an encouraging investment environment and strengthen cooperation between government bodies and the private sector to expand local production and achieve gradual self-sufficiency.
