The branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent in Ibb province distributed on Sunday emergency shelter materials to those affected by torrential rains in Jibla district.
Director of the Red Crescent branch al-Tayeb Al-Mutawakel explained that the housing aid included 160 mattresses, 160 blankets, and 40 cartons of kitchen materials, and 40 hygiene items for 40 families were distributed to affected by the floods.
Al-Mutawakel pointed out that aid will be provided to those affected by torrential rains in al-Mashnah district, pointing out that the damages are being assessed in the district to provide the necessary support to those affected.
Al-Al-Mutawakel noted that the emergency response process came in response to the urgent appeals launched by the province's governor to provide relief to those whose homes were damaged as a result of the heavy rains.
He urged all humanitarian organizations, institutions and associations to provide the necessary assistance
to those affected by torrential rains in several districts to alleviate their suffering.
